Just wanted to share very quickly... my sweet baby boy has his first tooth! One has finally broken through. He is growing up so fast. Pictures soon to come on my blog. What a big boy!

Krista's shower

Is anyone going to be able to attend Krista's baby shower on June 14? I'm not going to be able to get out and about for it but I'd like to pitch in for a group gift with someone else who's going...

Thoughts from my travels in Rome, Italy

So, you probably though I'd write about Rome. Actually my thoughts all involve my daughter, Sarah, and leaving her behind:

Before we left Paul and I had to complete our will's. (Unfortuantely we hadn't done that since she was born) It scared me to death (no pun intended) to even think about what could possibly happen to us either traveling or even while in Rome. But it had to be done. The night before we left I was very weepy and not wanting to leave her - even though she was giong to be in great hands. I called home every day just to make sure she was ok - no matter what the cost. Upon our return last night, I cried and cried once I finally saw her and held her in my arms. (It brings tears to my eyes as I type this.) She hugged me and kissed me and wouldn't let me go. (The feeling was mutual.) I am writing all this to say two things:

Can you imagine what God feels when we leave Him, yet decide to return?

Most importantly, I can only hope that when I get to Heaven that God will hug me, kiss me, and hold me as I did with Sarah to show me His amazing and everlasting love.

I can truly say that I have felt the love that God feels for His children. I love my daughter more than anything else in this world (not sure how healthy that is; nevertheless, it's the case). I would do absolutely anything for her. That is how God's love is for me and you. Isn't that the most wonderful thing?

Is your little one sleeping through the night?

Just when you think that your child is starting to finally sleep through the night and you will start to get some sleep.....think again.

FINALLY Presley started to sleep through the night. I though I was going to be able to get a good nights rest for the first time in 6 months. All I am asking for is at least 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Is that too much to ask? I really don't think so. But Presley has been a trooper and we have had some talks at 3:30 in the morning and she has agreed to start sleeping until 6:30 am. Wonderful! We have done great since last Monday night. I will lay Presley down around 8:45 pm and she has been sleeping until 6:30 the next morning.

But then it happened, Reagan has started waking up at around 3:30 am and wanting to climb in bed with us. It might seem cute and innocent the first time or even the second time but we are going now on 4 nights in a row. What do you do? I am so tired I let her crawl in bed with us and then take her back to her bed about an hour later. I do not want to get into this habit. Any ideas?

Sarah and Brock

Does anyone have an update on Sarah is doing today? Jim said in church today, that they had to go to the hospital again this morning! I hope everything is ok. Someone give us an update, if you have one!
